Watch the video and answer the following questions:

1. How is Mesoptomia known?  The craddle of civilization.
2. Between which two rivers did Mesopotamia develop? Between the Tigris and Eufrates.
3. What are the intensive translations from? From clay tablets. 
4. How was the first group of citizens known? The Sumerians
5. What did the Mesopotamians build? What for?
They built dykes, cannals, channels in order to catch the life given by floodwater. 
6. What else did they build? They built towns of brick with the temple in their centre. 
7. What were the functions of the  grounds of the temple?
grain stores, a treasury, quarters for priests, officials, entertainners and craftsmen. 
8. What were the kings representative of? Gods on Earth. 
9. What's cuneiform? The first written language. 
10. What is Mesopotamia legacy? Law, literature and engineering.
